OPEN ME UP!!!! What I'm Wearing: Tilly & The Button- Agnes (Hacked) **************************************************************** Hello Friends, Today I'm reinstating my Burda Style series which I started back in 2015. It was the first series I created for my YouTube channel but I never gave it a chance to pick up. A few weeks ago, I asked the community if there was any interest in this sort of series. I told myself if I got 10 interested people, I would start it up again. These video's will be posted weekly starting today and Sunday going forward. I will link to similar patterns in the items mentioned section, if they can't be found on the BurdaStyle website. I am Burda all the way! It would be nice to see the line drawings too if possible. Thanks. I have trouble finding good buttons also.

I really like the way you did this video. Most Burdastyle videos show the magazine pictures an d play music. This was a nice change. Your insight is something I look for in your videos. Thank you

You are most welcomed, I enjoy sharing my insights and hope it helps. I'm sort of a visual/information nerd too😉. The more details the better.

I just did a big video where I flip through 25 old Burdas! :) They are so great. I have this one, and I loved hearing about it!

I really enjoyed seeing and hearing about the magazine, I'm not familiar with that magazine and don't think it's available here in Ireland so I found the whole video really interesting.

@The Twilight Stitcher Thank you! I didn't know that :)

I'm glad you found it interesting. You can download patterns from 2010 to present at Burdastyle dot com! If you don't mind PDF patterns.

I was wondering how much work is it to add seam allowances in each piece? And how do you do that?
The Twilight Stitcher (3 months ago)
It's not too bad, the issue is remembering to add Seam Allowance when cutting your fabric. I trace the pattern first then mark along the edges add 5/8 SA (Seam Allowance ) in Red ink. The color jars my memory 😁, so I don't repeat the error of not adding SA.

I forgot how fashionable and stylish the Burdastyle Magazine patterns are. Thanks for sharing this.
